TF2 hud not working
Dumb question but after the TF2 update my hud hasent wworked i have put the hud files any place i could think of how do i fix this

It now goes in /steamapps/common/team fortress 2/tf/custom/new_folder_here, name the new folder whatever you want and you should be fine. Same goes with Skins n whatnot.

Because you did not treat "new_folder_here" like you treated "tf".
You have to make a new materials folder in the "new_folder_whatever" folder, a new maps folder, a new models folder, etc.
It makes mods easier if you have a lot of mods, or any mods that TF2 updates break.
It's suggested that each new folder in custom be for a different mod, and that you convert the folders into VPKs ASAP.

Go to your tf folder and there should be a folder named "custom" Put your entire hud folder in there and it should work, or at least it did with kbn hud. Make sure you put the hud folder itself, not resources and scripts.
