stable fps problems
i have a intel i7 8 core and a nivida gtx 555m but i get about 30 to 50 fps when stood still and about 20 to 40 fps when moveing and when in combat i get 20 to 30 fps it annoys me soo much and it dosent matter what settings im on it stays the same the drivers are updated ive cleared the computer (btw its a alienware mx14 i thought itd kill tf2 ! ) also i tried chris's settings max and low dose anyone have a fix before i lose my mind

Does your laptop switch between on board graphics and the geforce to save power? Maybe its not...

ive changed all the nivida setting to make it that card ! it just dosent feel like it should do i can play some other games fine

try turning off the powermizer polling in the nvidia settings
