The fat guy is the Source engine and all the stuff he's carrying is the hats and miscs of the game. Basically, it's what'll happen if they introduce a third misc slot.

This appears to be the 'veteran' TF2 player who has too many hats and miscs but doesn't have anything to do with them and ends up dying because he was bragging about his useless junk, or something like that.
