Why are admin's such a**holes?

Everytime I'm not on a valve server the admins on the server kick me and ban me for stupid reasons.

List of reasons i got banned:
Telling someone that i dont like ponies, even though I was polite about it (poni poni poni)

Not giving my Strange festive sandvich to the admin for a reclaimed(trade server)

Politely asking for two of the four spies to switch.(cp rotation)

So i have to choose a. play with noobs or b. play with a**holes.

Power trips. A console savy person that has admin rights to the server can essentially play god if he/she choses.

I remember my first few games of TF2. I was doing quite well as an engie on Well, defending the point with my level 1 sentry I didn't even know how to upgrade when suddenly a Gigantic stone horse spawns on top of me killing me. I then see that the admin was spawning these everywhere and pushing em around A'La Gary's Mod Physgun killing people with equstrian blunt trauma.

But your right, higher end players tend to be jerks a lot of the time. While noobs are typically noobs but tend to keep to themselves. Best do some searching or pick your poison.

Going onto a fandom server and criticizing the fandom is close to trolling, so being kicked there is hardly surprising. They exist largely to be friendly environments to such, after all; just disable sprays, don't download custom sounds, and ignore any goofy avatars or the like.

Haven't really seen admins abuse powers very often. If there's an active admin doing admin-only things, it tends to be warning people of infractions (typically, trade chat on non-trading servers), changing maps, or occasionally goofy things like changing gravity or giving everybody sarcastic fake achievements.

Thats the thing though i went on there not complaining or anything then out of nowhere they started using pony models instead of their class models, So i politely said "Excuse me can you please not use the pony models, they are very hard to hit since they have a fixed hitbox" then they banned me.

Valve servers don't have admins. You are being Votekicked by the rest of people on the server.

Like Tito says, your getting vote kicked by other players on the server. Maybe because they think your both a and b.

There are some fair-minded administrators out there, however, it happens that I know a WHOLE group full with atleast 16 fair-headed admins..

One can just find so many stupid admins out there.
If you are constantly being banned from server after server, one has to wonder if the problem really lies on the others.

I have a very very simple response to anyone who complains about admins in general: Just start your own server.

If you can't, then don't complain about the people who do.

There was this one trader server I went into when I tried to sell a key for 4.11. I got banned right away from an admin because its against the server rules to sell keys higher than 3.33. <---♥♥♥♥♥!??!

good rules,3.33 is good and fair and 4.11 is high as hell,i agree with that admin.

Oh I bet. I'm sure you were EXACTLY like that with no attitude at all... I highly doubt that. Your in denial. I often see people on a server I go on often, talk trash about an admin, get banned, then go to the ban appeal claiming they did nothing wrong. Everytime. I sit there and listen to their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ excuses. Honestly, it's the the boy who cried wolf effect, I jsut don't beleive people who say "they did nothing wrong" anymore.

Admins are picked with caution so there shouldn't be any abuse but even if you encounter problems you can always write on our forums on steam community or the clan page.

I was playing dustbowl. only server i can find that has players in it, Then i found out it was a poni server. So i decided to deal with it. After a while of immature brony swearing and talking about sucking off horse's (no, im not just saying that) i muted these bronies. then i saw a blu scout trying to taunt kill me, so i took out my shotty and tried to kill him. Only to realize he was on my team, He was using some kind of pony skin to make him look like Twilight sparkle or something, Which because that pony is blue makes him look like the opposite team. Then i got killed by a tiny pony with a hat. I politely asked if they could please not use those skins, as said earlier they are harder to hit. then one of the other bronies said "Have fun with your ban"
And thats just one of the reasons i try my best to ignore bronies.
