Newbie coming through!
So, I installed the game for almost a month now and I've been mostly playing in private servers (I have to say it's freaking awesome even when I keep dying I just laugh).
I watched youtube videos and read the wiki but I wanted more tips about the game like personal insight of it because I really want to get better at it and I need help! Any kind of help would be appreciated.

Well whatcha need help with? There's a bunch of aspects, like classes such as spy and sniper. All i can say generally is that as a newbie he best thing you can do is pay attention to the team composition. If your team has, say, 3 spies and you're still losing but they still have sentries, then unless you're a confident spies another spy wont help. In otherwords, try to keep your own team mixed with all the classes or the ones that are appropriate for hte situation, class stacking an innapropriate class is a very unhelpful thing to do and will likely make your team lose.

Right. Never have 4 snipers on the team.

For the spy part count me out I'm a horrible spy. I think I wanna improve a bit in all the classes but for now the one I really want to improve are Scout, Engineer, Medic, Pyro and Sniper.

Dude, I joined a 32 player server (16 players on each team) I had 8 snipers and 7 spies.
And the next game this was the other team:

Medic tips:
1. Don't stand still. Try to dodge enemies.
2. Don't heal a person already being healed as it slows down your ubercharge rate.
3. Don't run around trying to kill people. It's not your job.
4. Spread your healing around. Try not to heal only one guy.
5. Remember that the medic is the most important person on the team. Don't follow idiots to their death.

14 here. On one side. Won that game. Fracken hilarious. 14 snipers won a control map.

Can you be a little more specific? Maybe what class(es) you'd like info for?

Scout, Engineer, Medic, Pyro and Sniper.
Okay, I'll start with scout.
Personally, I'm a horrible scout, so take my advice with a pinch of salt. Keep moving, and in combat, don't jump twice in the same direction - jump once to the left, then on your second double jump, to the right instead of left again. The scout can easily weapons hassle people - most classes have a primary and secondary - one designed for short range and one designed for close range. For example, the Pyro has a short ranged primary (flamethrower) and long ranged secondary (shotgun/flare gun). You can manipulate this as a scout, staying at medium range until the enemy pulls out their long ranged weapon, and then go in for a quick shot before they can switch back to their short ranged weapon. Also, hti-and-run.

As an Engineer: sentry placement is important. Choose somewhere without too much of a logn range for people to shoot at the sentry from long, but don't put it right behind a corner since splash can destroy it, and ubers can too easily advance upon it. Dispensers are important; keep them somewhere your team and you can easily access. Teleporters are also important; keep one up. Watch out for spies. Carry a wrangler to control your sentry.

As a Medic: Don't stop moving and watch your back. You are a high priority target. Heal people that are hurt - don't stick to one target for too long. Uber builds slower is you have a fully overhealed (or nearly fully overhealed) target. Uber at the right moment - not too early, but don't get killed either. Also, uber if you get ambushed, the uber is not as important as your life. Carry the right medi gun for the right situations.

Pyro: As a backburner pyro, ambush the enemy. Most good Pyros go puff-and-sting Pyro, (degreaser + a shotgun of some sort or the flare gun + axtinguisher). Puff a bit of fire, and airblast the enemy. You can either crit flare them, crit axtingiusher them, or shotgun them, or mini-crit them with the reserve shooter. Try to ambush the enemy, and make good use of the airblast - reflect projectiles, airblast enemies, and extinguish teammates.

Sniper: Again, I can't aim, so don't follow this too much. Keep on moving, and watch out if something comes flying along. Watch your back, and don't stand scoped for too long in one place. Kill the medics, and be wary of your surroundings.

For classes to get started in, you should pick Heavy, Engineer, and Medic. These three are what I think to be the easiest classes for a beginner (unless you're godlike at Sniper in every game).

For Heavy, it teaches you patience and to not press too foward. Make the enemy come to you, don't go to the enemy.

For Engineers, it teaches you to be wary of Spys and to know the map well so you know where to place your sentry. Always keep an eye on the cart.

For Medic, it teaches you to look for who is more important to your team, who are the important players in the enemy team, timing, communications, and a lot more. Always heal everyone, because you need all the help you can get, even from an SMG sniper who doesn't know much.

It's best to keep playing that game. You'll slowly get better at it.

4 snipers is ok if they all can headshot and kill EVERYONE on the enemy team and defend themselves from spies
