Lost TF2 Items.

Hello, I went over to a friend's house and logged into steam on his computer and played TF2. Everything was normal. When I tried to launch TF2 at my own home, it said the steam cloud didn't sync correctly. It told me to pick between my local files, and the cloud files. It said the local files were more recent, so I picked that. I found that all the items I had had equipt were GONE from my BP. Even my Steam inventory didn't show these items. If anyone can share knowledge of this problem, I would be very thankfull.
