i have the same problem with my hat. Also, when going as medic, ubercharge effect (only visually) stays if I die during an uber w/ critz. It is actually getting really annoying...

I also have a problem like that. Whenever i die with full uber (doesn't matter what medigun) the "uberglow" of the gun appears on other weapons, even non-medic ones

I've heard that record; fix in the console temporarily gets rid of this.

Its strange why hasnt it been fixed already....looks like for Valve it is more important to release a bunch of stupid useless metal reskins for old hats,than to fix real problems,and I must say VERY ANNOYING PROBLEMs

Use recordfix; stop and see if that helps. RoyalChairForce has a discussion about it.
