Team Fortress 2
Liberty Launcher
What do you think is up with the liberty launcher. I think its the second nubbyest weapon in the game (first is soda popper). I think its nubby because your rockets go faster so you need 1) less aim and 2) less prediction.

I find it pretty handy when dealing with airblasting pyros, the prediction/aim is of less importance

its like the direct hit but without the splash reduction wich is a big plus when you have faster projectiles, from what i have seen it is kind of op in ways

in 1:1 battles against other soldiers it might as well be a straight upgrade, which is why I hate it

That's why it's good, isn't it?

I don't think it's overpowered, just that it needs a different upside to make it unique. I think its rockets should have more push force rather than more speed.

I agree. It is a part of the "Airborne armaments" anyways. It would be good for rocket jumping with the market Gardner and would make the reserve shooter easier to use for soldier.

it's not good though, in any situation where you have multiple targets to shoot at or need to divebomb, it sucks.

Ditto, the thing really doesn't fit with the kit it's supposed to fit with. It's just an item that rocks for newer players or players with poor aim, and falls short for players with better aim at the moment. Which is a shame because I love the way it looks and sounds...

Don't really mind it.
Its pretty fun to use, plus its not really overpowered.

I think that, like most 3 clip rocket launchers that it's a crutch weapon. If you just started out playing the soldier, sure, use it to learn the ropes. But in the long run you aren't doing yourself any favors by not using the stock or direct hit.
