Really, buying some keys every once in a while is better than just trading for them.
It takes like 2 months-ish to get enough weapons for a key, and they are still rising, so why bother? Just trade for silly hats.
I have more fun wasting my metal on crafting hats than having it sit there forever trying to get a key.
