Game starts minimized
Since yesterday I haven't been able to play. The game starts and its just a minimized BAR across the middle of my screen.

I also use Oculus Rift but I doubt that has anything to do with this. or does it? anybody else? :spycon:

add -windowed -fullsceen to launch options.

I've tried -windowed before and that didn't work. Tried both, didn't work. I can hear main menu music though.

Alt+Enter doesn't do anything either.

i see new nvidia drivers released Dec 17th. Tried those and still a single title bar (appears as any other window) horizontally across the middle of my screen.

I guess my only other option is to reinstall.

And I DON'T really want to do that.. incase it messes up my Virtual Reality Mode.

I have 2 computers and both of them run TF2 in VR completely different (for some reason)

My laptop version of TF2 says "Activate Virtual Reality" right on the main menu. (which is really nice, i don't wanna mess it up) My desktop PC doesn't, i have to run Steam VR (which doesn't work properly until im in-game and use Shift+Tab)

So yeah im reinstalling, I HOPE it still says Activate Virtual Reality on the main menu!

Have you tried going to the edge of the bar (Where the little connected arrows show up) and dragging it?

Yea, I can't even get any arrows to drag. Just a solid title bar. The minimize is grey. I can only click the X to exit the game (once the main menu music starts playing)

This is a brand new problem. I didn't have any problems 2 days ago.

This is insane, im DYING to play. (haven't played in 3 days!!!) There is NOTHING like TF2 in VR.

i mean, i'd play in VR on my other PC (3.0Ghz GTX 980) but I get all kinds of HUD glitches. I can't see how much ammo i have. Can't see my character in bottom left screen. It's just BAD and I don't know why.

LOL okay now TF2 isn't working on either PC for me. I even rolled back the Nvidia drivers.

My only other option now is to roll back Oculus Runtime 4.4 back to 4.3
(which is a SHAME, because TF2 was working fine and seemed to run smoother on 4.4)
