An Idiotic Idea: Mid-range Sniper

What kind of Sniper loadout can be used for a mid-ranged sniper and is it a plausible build? Feel free to make your opinion known. Peace!

I was hoping for a more comprehensive answer like what else would go with the huntsman.

Huntsman + carbine + ham. Done

[Ace42]

Huntsman / FC, Jarate, Bushwacka. Huntsman's harder to dodge closer you are to victim, and has the best raw DPS of the primaries; Jarate and a bodyshot arrow will kill most stuff; and jarate + bushwacka will do likewise.

Huntsman (or fortified compound) with the DDS and the shahansha. Shahansha is 50% less risky because of the health, bullet resistance is vey nice and the explosive damage is not too noticable + only 2 classes even deal explosives.

I reccomend using the compound too because it's smaller on your screen letting you see more. Looks cooler too.

I use this as my huntsman mid-range sniper loadout and it is not an idiotic idea.

I tend to use Huntsman/FC + Jarate + Bushwaka for obvious reasons. It works well, it really does.
