"Quickbuying" - since when is this a thing?
Hey all,

Since a while I have come across this word quite some times... 'QuickBuying'. However, the term people are using this at is massively illogial and misunderstood.

As far as I've understood already, it comes as a counter-act of 'QuickSelling'. Quickselling defines that you sell items because you want to get rid of them to clear up inventory space [or for other reasons], so you sell them for a lower price than they would actually go for than the regulair street value.

However, what people did was change the '-selling' into '-buying'... Which isn't the way to go. Instead, what they would actually mean would be 'QuickSALE Buying'. Because, QuickBuying verbally means that you buy items because you want them A.S.A.P., because you need them for customisations, crafting, loadout, etc, so you would pay more than the item would regulairly go for.

The 'QuickBuying' in the wrong term [looking for Quick Sales] is being used inappropriately. Lately it is being used as an excuse to lowball or beg; offer less for an item that the seller doesn't even want to quick-sell, and continues trying to do so regardless.

But since when is this QuickBuying manner a thing? Isn't this just ordinary begging, or a wrongly worded hunt for discounts? And wasn't Quickselling always meant to come in offers, and not in demand?

Its a stupid excuse to offer the lowest-ball amounts for things that YOU WANT. It's basically "I want this thing, but im going to be a jackass about it, and you cant tell me no"

People like that are idiots, and they rarely ever get the things they want at the price they want

Quickselling implies that you want to get rid of it fast therefore cheeper to make the sale happen now. Quickbuying should be just the opposite, you want the item now so you will offer more. Thats the logical conclusion, sadly this is the internet and people have no idea what terms mean and they don't take 3 seconds to learn them. Why do you think there are 50 threads a day with easy to answer questions asked? The posters could have instead have taken one minute to google for themselves but lazyiness and stupidity would have them rather be hand fed the answer.

I scrapbank and in my post I define what scrapbanking is. Well you wouldn't believe how many people send me offers that have no idea what scrapbanking is or where to even locate the info. Daily I see people using the term "scrapbanking" wrong. Such is life though.

Unless you are going to pick up a shotgun and solve this problem one shell at a time your post and my post server no other purpose than to rant.
