For me, it's because it ruined the actual gameplay and a game mode.

Also, yes, I do in fact play more in order to collect cosmetics. I like playing dress-up. It's half the fun for me. If it wasn't half the fun for people trading wouldn't be a booming business. \

I don't like the map they chose. The minigame seems to spawn the falling platform one most often which is the one I hate while I love the other two. I already got the achievements (except one which I'm not likely to get) and I got my gifts. I have no incentive to continue playing on a map I hate.

However, I do like Helltower AND it still gives gifts every 3 hours, so I do continue to play that. (I enjoy the other old ones as well, but Helltower is my fave.)

Why would you even want a new halloween boss? A lot of people have mentioned how a lot of players would focus on killing other players rather than killing the boss. Thats quite true and I've been in that situation before and it's completely annoying. Bread boss would be a cool idea, but Valve would think of something better. No need to take out something from a 15 minute video and then put it into a halloween update. Doesn't work like that. We saw the Expiredation Date video, now we just forget about it. It wasn't that themed to the halloween anyway, it was just a video from a new Love & War update.

"BUMPER CARS? PFFT!"
Did you expect a halloween update with a golden lamborghini? Grow up. If you think that bumper cars are old then you probably had a bad childhood. Sorry man. Yeah, it might be childhish but does it even hurt to atleast play a minigame involving bumper cars? Go back to taking drugs.

"WHY SO LESS SPELLS?"
I actually prefer it like that to be honest. If you remember Helltover, then there was a lot of spell drops and they were just used for spam all the time. This time it's just 1 spell in a map and 1 super spell, which is much better to be honest. If you like spam, then go to Helltower and never play the new event EVER again.

"WHY ONLY HALLOWEEN RESTRICTED ITEMS?"
Idiot.

"MINI SENTRY SPAM IS ANNOYING!"
Agreed. The fact that when the force dancing starts, the mini-sentries nearby start shooting the other players when they are defenseless. That wouldn't be fair at all because if its a "no weapons" mode then the mini sentries would still stay on the ground before the force dancing even started. Someone mentioned Gunslinger to be a restrictive item for that event which is a good idea, but I am not sure in what way.

"MAP GLITCH/ENGINEER'S TELEPORTER BEHIND THE SPAWN WALL"
I am not even going to talk about this one. I don't understand why Engineers use a glitch to get behind the spawn wall and then place a teleporter exit there and the teleporter entrance at the front spawn gate. This is going to destroy the team's effort for collecting the tickets. I've been succesfully votekicking 2 Engineers out of the game. One even tried to votekick me out, which was interesting.

So you are playing for the cosmetics?

Just happend to me an hour ago. Valve should probably fix this in a few days if they noticed it.

My rating on THIS halloween update? 10/10. You might have a different rating, but honestly? I don't care. What made me frustrated is the fact that the people are so dumb enough that they think they expected the best halloween update ever involving...everything they ever wished for. Just stop.

people take the game wayy to seriously. those are usually the f2p or hardcore neck beards that play this game nonstop. The casual gamers just ignore it all and bump bumper cars into each other

Not tradeable item from gifts: not to mention that you can only get a little amount of them, what the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ are you going to do to get the ones you want
CRASHES ALL THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ TIME-THIS IS EASILY DUE TO THIS EVENT BECAUSE EVERY 2 MINUTES I HAVE TO RESTART MY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ COMPUTER
AND IT IS JUST PLAIN BORING
So disappointed
Im actually considering not playing anymore in this "event"-crappiest one so far

I hope you noticed that you have a bad computer. All the other ten thousands of players have no problem playing this event.

I for one like the new update, you have to remember some take the game as if its a real war. For me I like it because its quite random, plus with no new boss I don't mind that so much. I think people were looking for more, and also looking for more of a challenge. But remember this is TF2, its ment to be cartoony with a twist. Yeah I might get alot of hate for liking the update, but I for one know its just enough for me to say its good

What are you talking about the update is terriable. We wanted a new boss not bumper cars!
