Valve has trading guidelines and warnings which would prevent this sort of situation from occuring if everyone followed what they say. In fact, they indicate that it is prohibited to trade outside of these guidelines. Many many people claim that they have been scammed (and usually I'm sure it's true). With so many claims from people who don't follow the guidelines how much time should they be expected to devote to sorting out these details? A trade for money like you mention is something that they warn against and, therefore, also prohibited. I don't think they have an obligation to help you. They have to pay employees to do this work. Read the rules about trading and don't complain if you decide not to follow them.

Take note:
Any trading that involves MONEY, cancel the trade immediately. Don't respond, just click 'Cancel'. And block them if you have to.

First , NOBODY reads those , people just play the game . I didn't even knew about those . And if I knew money would not be tradeable , I would've refused from first time .

The guidelines are there to protect you, but mostly to protect Steam. They basically say, if you get scammed it's your own fault. How did the other user offer your money anyway? Paypal?

Well , he didn't offer me paypal , he offered me a steam wallet and he bullshited and said 'Oh , looks like the trade isn't working ' and later sent me a trade offer and said he opened a support ticked nd ♥♥♥♥ and it looked legit .

So you added your items to the trade, he added nothing, you clicked "Yes this is a gift" and gave him your items?

Saying that nobody reads those doesn't mean that they don't apply. It's the same thing with the law. Ignorance is no excuse.

Your post made me laugh so hard... saying "NOBODY reads those" is just about the lamest excuse for stupidity I have ever heard. Just admit it, you screwed up and lost money. There's nothing you can do about it now.

It's a shame, you lost some items. A few hats aren't worth much. Be thankful you still have control of your Steam account as I'm almost certain you would've fallen for a phishing scam if you fell for this. Read the trading guidelines, use your common sense. Only trade within Steam using the Trade Function or Trade Offers.

Maybe it's a lesson that you will benefit from. It could have been your bank account. So, when you make statements saying that nobody reads the guidelines (as if I were an idiot to believe they did), maybe now you will start to read. Live and learn. This is a cheap mistake. Move on!
