New Hud has Screwed up tf2

So recently i installed a new hud (broselhud) and I didnt really like it, so therefore I got rid of it.However, now it seems that my tf2 is somewhat corrupt, however the gameplay is still ok.

I think it could be fixed by uninstalling tf2 and reinstalling it, however I'm scared of losing my items an achievments.
Could someone please verify if this theory is correct, and whether or not I will lose my items and achievments. Also if there are any other ways of fixing this, please could you tell me!

Items and achives are stored within the Steam Cloud, and cannot be lost.
