Stock scattergun is great for any angle you shoot an enemy at.
also this is from the same guy who only uses stock weapons
op take notes
he's not durable
but
But
BUT
meant to ambush like pyro as well
he uses the hit and run method
hence why he is fast and more aerodynamic when jumping
simply choose a sucker whose not paying attention
get close
point blank
2 shot meat shot him
run away reloading
or
repeat until spotted then run away
best bet if you can get behind the enemy hence why bonk was invented as pistols dont really need em when you can meatshot and kill with scatterguns all day
Bonk being useful is a gr8 joke lol
Spam spacebar and that 125 hp will last you a lot longer than an overhealed Soldier as long as you know how to juke and avoid shitty positioning
To OP:
Scout's effectiveness is inversely proportional the number of players that are alive on the other team. When there's twelve players gunning for you, you're obviously outmatched, but when there's something like a 4 on 4 fight, Scouts will easily be the players turning the tide of the battle by "cleaning up" on the damage of the damage dealer classes (Soldier on the flank, Demoman and Heavy on the combo). Y'see, Scout has the ability to easily maneuver to advantageous positions and use hitscan to deal decent, reliable damage against a single target. If you see someone getting hit by two rockets to the face, then it's your job to chase 'em down and make sure they go down. That being said, Scout is arguably the best 1v1 class; your small size and high mobility allow you to avoid most damage coming your way while being able to attack your enemies with hitscan weaponry. The only class that rivals the Scout in both mobility and damage is the Soldier, and he needs to choose between mobility (gunboats + a rocket) and damage (shotgun + a rocket) rather than having both at the same time. You have to remember not to put yourself in a disadvantageous position (in chokes, with height disadvantage, in close quarters) - Scout excels in open areas with lots of height variances (think Process mid, Badlands mid, Snakewater last, etc).
BASICALLY: join the high society and dunk all scrubs
