Weapon Idea:Portal Gun
Literally just the portal gun from portal, would be used as a PDA for an engineer. Either Team would be able to use the portals made by an engineer... Do you agree? Let me know in the comments

actually it would not be overpowered if it were in the PDA Spot which is another idea I had, Itd Change the game completely.
Won't work as the Portal Gun needs surfaces that have been painted with paint that has trace amounts of moon rock in it.

You have no idea what balance means, do you? It'll make the teleporter utterly useless and you're right it'll change the game completely, but it'll be HELL to rebalance the game to suit it.

Woah! what if there was an alt click or somthing that painted on surfaces close to you, maybe a taunt for the weapon?
But in all seriousness and all that jazz, doesnt a teleporter (to a certain extent) function the same way? You also have to think is that your teams portal and if it is, how do you know the other team is camping it. And think of the lag as well.

Essentially it would act as a window which would not lag to bad and add a new element, plus valve already made portal as well.

Portal was a puzzle game that was centered around making portals. You are missing the point.
I could see it as a wrench weapon maybe that makes the teleporters two-way with no recharge time.

Congrats. You've just made both the Eureka Effect and teleporters completely redundant.

Also, what's to stop them from putting a portal in spawn and letting the other team in?

The only way this could possibly be balanced would be to remove the capability of the engineer to use his sentry or dispenser.
