Major FPS Issues
I left tf2 for a few days and a couple updates come out. When I log on, my FPS has taken a major hit. It seems normal at first, (60-120 fps), but in combat it drops down to 10-20. Anything i could do to fix this?

1. First of all, turn off your computer. Leave it for about half an hour.
2. Turn it back on and run TF2.
3. If you are still experiencing FPS Lag, go into the console and type 'mat_phong_0'
4. Close TF2
5. Open Notepad and create a blank document.
6. Type 'mat_phong 0'
7. Click Save.
8. Make sure you rename it to 'autoexec.cfg'
9. Before you click Save when saving it, make sure it isn't going to save as a .txt file, so click the drop down then click All Files.
10. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\cfg
11. Drag and drop the autoexec.cfg into it.
12. Open Steam,
13. Click on Games
14. Right click TF2 and click set launch options
15. Then just type +exec autoexec.cfg

I have done all these. Why do I think I asked for help?

Not sure what turning my PC off is supposed to do either. It's a persistent issue.
