games changed a lot since random crits
Random crits were needed at the time, because every class had preciesly 3 weapons to use so the randomness made the games less easy to predict. Not only have the available weapons multiplied by about 8, but the random crits are totally unfair on anybody who isn't a soldier (that's the class I play as) demo or pyro. Every other class is too slow or are much less less effective at spreading the crit multiplier around, and medics should consider themselves lucky if they've got more than 10 hp after taking a random crit, and we all know medic is frustrating enough even on no-crit servers.
