Do you think the pyro gets too many free crits?
It's just that every other class has to work for their crits. Sandman/guillotine combo for scout, market gardening for soldier, double donk minicrits for demo, getting close for a KGB kill for heavy, having a sucessful sentry set up for the frontier justice, medic doesn't get any crits that I'm aware of, sniper headshots or the jarate/bushwacka combo, and the ambassador's headshots for spy. Pyro also gets crits on all of his weapon slots. Does anyone else also share this opinion?

No.

Pyro pretty much has to get in point-blank to crit, while having among the least mobility of any class.

0/10.

Flare gun. Also, the pyro moves at full speed.

Tell that to the scout

That requires having a charge and getting close.

I think they're okay in terms of they pyro as a class in relation to other classes. It's like the demoknight - targe gives you pretty reliable crits, but the subclass as a whole is weaker than stock demo.

On this subject IMO the targe crit is easily as free as anything pyro gets - like puff/sting or afterburn/flare, you need to hit someone close (or close-mid if you're using the claid) with two things in quick succession, except if you're in the sweetspot where your sword crits without a shield bash, in which case you have to hit them with one thing.

Are you in every thread to downvote an opinion cause you think you're all that?

Which are both hard to do, as both classes move slower than the pyro.

"Pyro is 2EZ and should not get critz for managing to get people within the flame-thrower's range"

Phlog is a joke weapon.

Ever tried hitting a non-noob sniper with 2 flares in a row? Anyone who was originally in the flame's range is still fair game to get crits.

Same deal with the reserve shoot.

Manmelt is also a joke.

Axting is bad if you 1v1 degreaser pyros without the help of your team. degrease turns pyro into a killing machine if you give them enemies one at a time (which in a good team should not happen so you kinda deserve that)

Water is rare so you kinda deserve to die a few times if you run into a pyro shark

Easier to dodge the further you are from the Pyro...

Oh, and of course its crits are weak as hell... 90hp? That's a rocket's base damage, AND rockets can deal more than that with ramp-up or by mini-critting or fullcritting, AND rockets have a faster ROF, AND they have splash...

Also, the pyro moves at full speed.
The only classes that move slower are:
Demomen, which can cut Pyro DPS in half with a targe, which can sticky jump away from Pyros, and can out DPS Pyros quite comfortably.

Soldiers, which can match a Pyro's primary DPS with a Shotgun, rocket jump away from a Pyro, and have more health.

Heavies - who are terribly slow and cumbersome; but who eat Pyros for breakfast and out-DPS a puff-n-sting even if the Pyro gets the drop on them...

Heavy is but i'm sure the demoman is faster

Demo speed:93%
Pyro speed:100%
wait what....
well still the demo could outrun the pyro by charging away (even with the Claymore)

Pyro. Should never have gotten the Reserve Shooter. He has enough free critical hits as is. It's not enough that a SOLDIER weapon for killing unruly scouts or enemies he juggled into the air becomes a pyro weapon. The pyro's airblast does all this: Reflects projectiles for 65% EXTRA DAMAGE, if the weren't a mini-crit or regular crit already, and allows pyros to easily trap enemies for instantly lethal attacks that NO class can ever do, and allows pyros to abuse environmental hazards to the fullest extent of how much of an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ they want to be by airblasting enemies continuously without fail to their death. And there's no way to escape from an airblast other than running away or using some sort of weaponry to ability to propel yourself away from the pyro.

Phlogistinator. Kind of overpowering. But the main drawback is. NO AIRBLAST. Gasp.

Backburner. Same deal, except it just costs more to airblast other than having no airblast. And pyro is impossibly quiet so having a backburner sneak up on you is not rare.
