Yes we realize this. However, there might be changes canonically with the new comics coming up. Nobody is sure, though.

Well, there's only really one TF2 team now, since they combined as of A Fate Worse Than Chess. There's a lot of canonical conflicts.
The TF2 story isn't too big on continuity. For example, the Demoman's bio implies he lost his eye as an orphan while trying his hand at making bombs, but the comics reveal he lost his eye to the Bombinomicon when his Mom made him go looking for work at the age of 7.
