I heard of it couple times but never played it until I noticed it's free. Noticed that when I suddenly hat TF2 content in GMOD. lol

I used to play a lot of minecraft, and use the forum alot. I went on one day, and in the daily news there was some article about HyPixel and SethBling's dustbowl replica. I tried it, and liked it, and i discovered this amazing game. Best day of my life, that was.

Someone posted a gif from Meet the Spy on Tumblr, here Scout attempts (and fails) to flip Spy's knife around. I thought the character was cute. Then, like, a couple months later, I asked a guy I was dating at the time if it was any fun, so I started playing. I've now started playing the unusual market and have earned two Australium weapons in a row, as well as a Blood Botkiller Scattergun my first ever tour. I've moved far beyond than anyone I know in real life who plays.

I found the game because of youtube, and played it 7 years later. Thanks a lot, "Anti-P2P" mindset.

I found out from some video...

It was the heavy in 2fort, walking and shooting acros the main bridge (no roof!) into the upper decks on 2fort. Strange thing was, the upper decks were more 'fort like'.

As in, the entire upper deck was covered with wooden walls except for 2 windows on the far sides.

Anyway, a sniper ended up killing the heavy, the a spy killed the sniper.

Didn't have a way to play it though, so I did a lot of research in to it until I could play. So once I started I kinda knew what I was doing. During my looking up about TF2, I fell in love with Pyro and that masked maniac has been my main class since

Saw heavy on a Gmod youtube video and found it funny even without knowing who heavy is. I googled and found out he was from TF2 and TF2 has recently gone F2P. I downloaded the game enjoyed it and became premium in the first week.

I got it in the Orange Box package which I only got for Half life 2 and it's episodes. Like portal, it sweetened the deal. This was a time before it went free to play, could have atleast included counter strike source in there.

They should really include the option to install the latest version of TF2 for people installing Steam for the first time.

I started hearing about it back in 2012, but didn't get into TF2 until May of 2013. I wasn't able to play it until November, however.
