It's a good name if you use te shotgun as a secondary weapon, but for engineers, wouldn't the shotgun be a "plan A" instead? If not, then what is an engineer's plan A?

Sentries cannot move, so it is vulnerable when you're not looking after it, and it cannot be there when you need protection at a far away/obscure place. AND you don't always have the time to set a full one up.
