Damn Spy Checkers
Whenever i go spy it turns out pretty badly...
I would say that i cant even sap a teleporter without getting killed by a spy checker ._.
I dont know why but it just keeps happening over and over again.
There wasnt a time i got atleast a chance to get a desired building destroyed.
Its so hard to even get past them...

just try and find a place that even you wouldnt expect to be able to put a sapper on something and click away. (e.g sapping stuff on the cap from above that concrete room on the final cap of yukon) now that is some ♥♥♥♥♥♥!t.

Playing spy is only going to get more difficult as more players become aware.

yeah its like when all the F2P noobs out there finally realise you can extinguise your own teammates who are on fire by left clicking with pyro (airblast). thats gonna make playing afterburn pyro a pain to play (good job i dont even play pyro much )

People tend to treat spy as a sledge hammer when he is really a surgical knife.
He is really meant for precision strikes. Taking out key players and buildings.

People also tend to treat him like a lonewolf that goes deep into enemy territory. Picking off people before they even engage one of your teammates in combat.
He is really meant to sneak past the front lines but stay close to the combat to take advantage of distracted enemies.

He is also best used to create paranoia among the enemy team. If you have three people chasing you down that is three people not defending the cart from the rest of your team. It is especially effective if you know how to cast illusions.

You just have to understand the mindset of the enemy your facing. Once you understand it you can escape most spy checks.

Just my two cents, but Scout is way better for this, especially with Bonk.

Loadouts on spy generally do not change the general mindset you need.

Ill practice a bit
Use the your revolver ( I recomend the ambasidor or the diamond back) to damage the spy checker or kill them. if theres a sentry use a dead ringer after. Or use the invis watch an stay FAR back from everyone else. Then loop back an backstab them

Actually, it does. It completely effects what stratagies you need to use to evade, distract, and kill enemies.
