Recently, I have purchased a Professional Killstreak Splendid Screen and a Specialized Killstreak Chargin' Targe. Now, some issues have been occurring with the mechanics of these weapons. To explain, the specialized and professional killstreak weapons come with a Sheen[wiki.teamfortress.com]
, or the shine on a weapon. Theoretically, this sheen is visible to all who can see the weapon - when it happens to shine - and the user wielding the weapon. However, the Sheen[wiki.teamfortress.com] is only visible to the other players, not the user holding the actual shield. The Sheen[wiki.teamfortress.com] fails to reveal itself to the wielder.
The recent update has fixed this problem. Thanks Valve!
Secondly, the Professional Killstreak comes with a Killstreaker[wiki.teamfortress.com]
: the eye effect. To make clear, the shields take up the secondary position for the Demoman, replacing the Sticky Bomb Launcher. This allows the wielder to equip another, if fortunate enough, Professional Killstreak Primary or Melee weapon(potentially giving players a chance to have two Killstreakers[wiki.teamfortress.com]
active at once) while holding the shield at the same time. However, when I attempted this with my Professional Killstreak Eyelander, only the Killstreaker[wiki.teamfortress.com]
for my Eyelander was present. In theory, the effects of the eyes would be displayed similar to the multiple unusual effects displayed at once[www.tf2pricecheck.net]
since both weapons with the Killstreakers[wiki.teamfortress.com]
are equipped simultaneously.
What do you think about this situation? Is it a bug/glitch? Or, was it made this way intentionally? Please leave your thoughts, comments, and suggestions for Valve below.
