jarate in medival mode
I wanna know why you can't use jarate in medival mode. I mean if they had anything they had jars of pee. It makes more sense then the caber for demo man. plus the scout has the mad mlk.

I was thinking that sometime and a friend told me its because sniper could get an entire loadout unlike any other class on medieval (afaik)

i say again "caber." The caber is a definate advantage. And besides if they can take away guns in medival mode can't they change the bushwacca?

Untill its used, and if someone manages to kill him (Likely, caber does 100 damage to demo)
He will struggle for killstreaks
On the other hand...ADD JARATE! XD, the only way we can counter these Cabers XD
oh and we are talking about a jar of pee XD, i'd dout the buskwacka would be changed

Can't the demo get a full loadout?

Well demo can have a full loadout but its more like he only uses the melee weapon and the targe/shield, but if sniper had the huntsman + jarate + any other melee he can use them all, now the boots add extra health and stuff but you dont really use it to attack.

The caber is a one-shot weapon that needs a resupply cabinet or a respawn in order to use repeatedly. It actually gimps you in melee mode since you're either stuck with a low-damage blown caber, or you need to waste time running back to the cabinet in exchange for maybe one or two instant-kills. Jarate and bushwacka would give you instant crits on multiple targets, and the pee recharges quickly.

It may not make sense from a technical aspect. As you pointed out, it's silly for the caber to be allowed if a jar of urine can't be. However, for balance reasons it makes perfect sense. This is all moot anyway, since Valve most likely forgot that medieval mode exists.

beacuse jarate was made out of glass
there was no glass in the medieval times.
DrVincentWolf Feb 27, 2014 @ 12:36pm
Medieval mode actually takes place in Hyrule. Bottles are too valuable to break.

I don't think that had glass jars back then.
fred weaslys ginger ghost Feb 27, 2014 @ 3:25pm
To all the people saying it didn't exsist back then. Niether did mad milk (it's also in a glass jar) or baseball bats or any of the sandviches.
