Note: Unique weapons stats are compared to the unique ones
Ex: Increase revolver damage to 60, ambassadors damage would be increased from 40 to 60 then 15% damage penalty is applied
Danger Shield - this thing needs a nerf/rework more than anything.
Vaccinator - it's situational, can't say it shouldn't have a buff but can't really say it should.
Homewrecker - depends on the type of pyro you play. Sometimes this or to an extent the neon annihilator are the only viable options.
Big earner could use something like + 5 max health on backstab up to 140 or something, counter that health penalty without removing the need for the kunai, though the stat bonuses to big earner are a little odd together.
There's no need to change the boring stock melees, I'll give you that the achievement ones are generally fun because you can force the situation where their advantage kicks in, but even so, I think just raw wearing the other team down is enough, especially if you consider the maps the game shipped with, calling out enemy health with mic, and proper respawn timers.
The cozy camper, darwins, sun on stick, volcano fragment, I agree need something.
I've know people who swear by big earner and scorch shot, and they seem reasonable trades to me as is the paintrain especially since the second person gets the biggest reduction in capture time.
I'm skeptical about the vaccinator, but it can be used to get picks and retrieve a single person from an overextenstion, so while its bad for team fights, it can allow a really (split push friendly team) to get more chances to test the other team....
Razorback is specific, but it's fine on a 5cp map or payload, since I find that when spies don't get a single place to search for the sniper they are less likely to use other options.
Revolver I would defend earlier this week, but someone showed me that even l tranger shares its ability to 3 shot snipers, so all it has at this point is the most leeway with midrange falloff, which may or may not be enough/
Sun on a Stick = Agreed. This one has no use in its current site.
Equalizer = Does what it is suppose to do. Give you more damage the more damaged you are. No need for change.
Pain Train = I see this often used to great effect on capture maps. No need for a change.
Scorch Shot = The scorch shot is not meant as a damage weapon but as a harrassing defensive weapon. Also great for spy checking at a distance. I personally do well with it.
Homewrecker = It already performs its job admirably. I carry when there is a mini sentry user around. One hits for the win. Not to mention this thing is awesome for being a pybro (engineer baby sitter)
Sharpened Volcano Fragment = This one is only used in medievil mode. I can get behind a buff to this.
Vaccinator = This thing is amazing against a kritzkrieg pair on when one team is using a ton of one damage type. I main medic. I know.
Most medic melee's = Amputator has a large following for that + hp gen when out. Works great for escaping. Let us also not forget the group taunt effect. Solemn vow actually needs to be reworked. Not buffed. Vita Saw does its job for new medic users. bonesaw. Buffing the bonesaw would be dangerous as it is the stock weapon. Quite honestly a damage debuff on the alternatives (save for ubersaw since that actually might work in its favor) would make the stock saw more attractive.
Razorback = This weapon works well when you use it right. To many snipers use it when they are alone because they assume it will watch their back (no pun intended). The whole point of it is that you position yourself in a place where you cannot be shot by revolvers effectively. Thus giving the spy no options if he sneaks up on you.
cozy camper = Works fine.
danger shield = many snipers use this for obvious reasons. Not certain why you think it needs a buff when it already is quite popular.
Revolver = It is in no way out classed by the others. I run full stock spy. I prefer the stock revolver because it has no downsides and its damage is quite good.
Big earner = It has its nich for being well paired with the dead ringer and the cloak and dagger.
Keep in mind, I can't change everything YOU think should because lots of people disagree with one another on this thread.
I think it's just slightly underpowered in other gamemodes other than CP and KotH. Not majorly underpowered, just slightly compared to stock
Same with razorback, being able to not worry about backstabs (most spies will just not bother revolvering) is worth losing the useless smg
