Automatic Trading/Gifting (Not Tradebot)

I think there should be a system throughout Steam, that allows you to send items on a timer. Like some phones allow you to send a text in a few hours, but send items. I want a friend to wake up on his birthday, and BAM, there is a hat he wanted in his inventory. Like a Gift-A-Pult that is free, and isn't to a random person. If there is already something like this, please friend and message me.

I just thought that this would be a good idea, because what if was on vacation and I couldn't get to my computer?

Well you cant trade then, Im sure there are many reasons this isnt in already. My biggest concern with that kind of a system is if someone got access to your account and set up a timed trade to give all your items to someone else without you knowing about it. Then suddenly one day you lose everything without knowing why.

But no, there is no way to do this at the moment.
