what if nothing in the game is overpowered?
What if everything is well balanced? What if things only seem OP to people who aren't good at TF2? What if getting better at the game would make these balance problems go away?

What if Valve themselves didn't adjust the weapons around in every patch in a desperate attempt to balance the game?
then everything else is UP, like eviction notice, sun on a sick, on so on..

The game is pretty well balanced, weapons counter other weapons but all in all stock is always the best choice for the most part.

It's actually *not* perfectly balanced, but balance issues usually pertain to poor skill-indexing, high degree of anti-fun, bugs, or items that are completely useless or overshadowed by others

For instance:

- heavy lacks anything with a high skill ceiling
- the mini-sentry is not terribly strong, but is anti-fun and offers too much reward for the low effort and skill required
- shield charges aren't supposed to give full-crits unless you've charged a good distance, but you can full-crit from any range
- the Sharpened Volcano Fragment is pretty much never the correct choice, ever
- ditto, the Eviction Notice
- Phlog is worthless except at the lowest skill levels

and so forth.

Annoying to go against. It's not necessarily *effective*, but obnoxious.

Perhaps the most extreme example would be a Cloak-and-Dagger spy in Arena. He's not terribly *useful*, but can make the round tedious. That sort of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥gery is why capping is permitted, of couse.

well for starters, TF2 is a game of counters, so either things can be countered effectively or they can't. I fail to see how UP or OP enters the equation because it's all just a really elaborate version of rock, paper scissors.

I've always believed that there was no such thing as an OP weapon in this game. It basically comes down to the skill of the person using a certain weapon that makes it OP. Also, I've always believed that if someone is having problems with someone using a certain weapon/loadout that is causing them problems they just need to find a counter or approach to have success. We also can't forget that to play this game correctly players need to focus on the teamwork aspect and not individual accomplishments.

Nothing would change because nothing IS overpowered
It's just the skill of the person using the weapon

Not even lmaoboxers are overpowered because I can kill them with stickies as long as I don't get in line of sight.

I think every class that kills me is OP. Valve should nerf all classes not being played by me.

Sun-on-a-Stick is not UP. It is just extremly situational
