Pyro or Spy. Both are heavily reliant on ambush and close-quarters combat, and both are usually boned if the opponent encounters them outside of their effective range.

Pyro only has a slight edge due to the intimidation factor.

I'd agree with this if the OP was looking for situational loadout instead of class.

But lemme one-up you: Demoknight with the pain train.

Demoknight is it's own class now. We just made it up.

Spy with the YeR. It's so hard to use on some maps and requires you to be very sneaky.

When I play Spy with any loadout I like to get the high ground and drop in behind my target. Anybody else do this?

I'd have to go with medic (on pubs) because medic requires you have atleast one competent teammate (and those are few and far between on pubs)
emugod Feb 19 @ 10:01pm
Heavy by virtue of requiring a pocket medic to be relevant (the only class that does). And further being largely inferior to soldier or demo even with that pocket, essentially limited to defense in relatively close quarters.

Spy and scout.

Neither does well on extremely choked maps, because they're better off having room to manuever and alternate routes; if they're forced into being side-by-side with teammates in a frontal assault, there are much better choices. Even Pyros are potentially more useful in a narrow front with few alternate routes, because of uber-stalling and reflects.

At high level, I guess that spies and pyros would be the most situational.

Perhaps I should differ you to the first post in the thread?
