Chargin' Charge or Spendid Screen?

Which one is better in what situations, and which is the better choice?

Charge is better for anything other than pure melee persuader. This is because the resistences are more useful than the 50 damage or whatever from the bash.

I normally go charge n targe, anti pyro and anti soldier all the way(and huo and demoman, also works with sentry rockets)

Im very convinced. Is the splendid screen underused?

Targe for normal servers, Splendid Screen for medieval mode. Afterburn isn't a problem on medieval mode, seeing as flaming arrows aren't a huge problem except on Degroot Keep, few people play medieval pyro and few who do use the SVF, and killing people drops anti-fire pills anyway. There aren't usually explosions in medieval mode either, unless someone goes Caberknight. But on a normal server, Targe is the way to go. Shame I don't have one anymore, I tossed it before it got buffed.

So I should always use the targe, as I don't play medieval that much.

But most of the time your eyelander misses when you accidently kill them with the splendid screen.

in all seriousness you shouldn't be missing the the crit hit, it should be
Charge-------------(shield hit doing damage)->(time it to hit the crit right after)

Are there many (more than 2) pyros on the enemy team? Targe.
If not, screen.

I like to get heads and do combat, but other people are saying that I should use it on normal servers yet you say to use it when going combat.
