Holiday Punch vs any other Fists
I feel that the Holiday Punch is a -almost- straight upgrade from the stock fists.
+can crit from behind
+crits force laughter taunt (which is funny and paralyzing to the other guy)
-crits do no damage (lets face it, if you crit with any stock they are dead or almost dead, but instead, you can kill them easier with any weapon or even the showdown taunt)

I don't always melee as heavy, but when I do, I prefer Holiday

And all the other fists have some draw back to them.
-Steel is slower at weapon change and dat +100% damage from melee sources
-K.G.o.B are nice. But not totally into it.
-G.o.R.U. are good, except anything that can flank you will have an upper hand even if you see them coming and switch before they attack.
-warrior's spirit comes with -20 hp. and I was not counting on melee kills anyways.

And that's pretty much all the heavy melees. Eviction Notice is a bad joke

What fists do you use and why?

They may be an upgrade to Stock, but that doesn't mean their upside is better than the upsides on the other fists. I use Fist of Steel, personally.

I know, but I find that I dislike the downsides of all the fists more than the benifiets they give me.

So naturally I like Holiday because it is almost a straight upgrade.

I use the (Festive) Gloves Of Running Urgently mainly. Can't beat the good ol' Stock(Or Its reskin)/Brass Beast (for mvm, mainly.) Sandvich Gru whombo combo.

I only use the Holiday Punch to goof off really, or in situations where I want to melee battle.

The stock fists are alright, but just unused since you can specialize in so many ways. With the Holiday Punch, you have an inherent advantage in close range 1v1s. After they're stunned, if noone can intervene, you can tauntkill them, punch them more, or spin up your Minigun and meatgrind them. They can also stop an Uber in its tracks, if they're dense enough to let you behind them. However, the KGB is better for a fight with several enemies if you're going for melee, as you can use crits to wipe up every kill after the first. The GRU and FoS are also good for travelling utility.

I mainly use the Gloves of Running Urgently when playing seriously. Sometimes, if I don't want to use the GRU but still play seriously for whatever reason, I'll use the Fists of Steel. If I'm not playing seriously, I'll usually just use the Holiday Punch or sometimes the Killing Gloves of Boxing if I really want to play Shotgun Heavy.
