Defeating a engineer in the intel room of 2fort
What is the best way to get rid of an engineer and its buildings in 2fort's intel room (Enemy engineer of course)

Well,I would say you go Demo,try to find the Sentry and place some Stickies near it so you can explode the Nest of the Hardhat.
Or just go if the Engi is dumb.
I once managed to destroy a Engi Nest with my Scattergun thanks to the poor Position of the Engies Sentry :v

If the engi has the sentry tucked away in a corner. Then you should be able to position your self in such a way, that you can shoot it. While it cant shoot you.

There are several courses of action available.

My personal favourite - just because it is hilarious - is to go spy, use the teleporter that they always stupidly build from their spawn to their intel room; and then telefrag the dumb engie standing on it. If they're not standing on it, they very rarely expect whoever uses the teleporter to be a Spy, so it should be a free backstab and sap for you.

If sentry placement makes this a problem, you can backstab a Sniper to get a disguise using YER / Wanga ♥♥♥♥♥; and then you're free to backstab the Engy in clear view of the Sentry without it targetting you.

An alternative is to wait for the Engie to come out of the room, kill him, then edge the Gun while it's undefended.
If he camps his dispensor in there; just edge the gun. If he comes to attack you, you just kill him while he's out in the open; if he doesn't you can usually kill the gun just by edging it if you're patient or killing the Engy with splash damage.

Remember that projectiles fire from the tip of your gun which is generally on your right-hand-side; so you don't have to over-expose yourself to a sentry in order to shoot it around a corner.

If all else fails - ubercharge and push through.

But, TBH, intel room in 2-Forts is a terrible place to build a Sentry - if they're trapped in there they are sitting ducks and their whole base is wide open - they're effectively playing with a man down and are asking to get spawn-camped.

Two scouts annoying the sentry and shooting at it, eventually, the engineer will run out of metal, as will probably the dispenser, the sentry will break and bang, two scouts raid a sentry nest.

Hell, if you have 2 Scouts, just have one Bonk in front of the Sentry while the other runs in and grabs the intel.
