it's the same logic as the pan but for the engie, there' s a popular belief that pan, southern hospitality and all medic melee crit alot

Well, they do. All melee weapons that have random crits follow the same formula, gaining chance if you've done damage within the last few seconds. What people don't realize is that Sentry damage and Healing Target damage also count.

All melees sans Knives have a higher chance of getting crits. Engie and Medic seem to get more because they're contributing via damage(Sentry) and healing(duh).

The Pan is just a reskin of the default mele weapon. Mele weapons have a greater chance of getting random crits than any other weapon except for non random crit mele weapons like the market gardener.

Play TF2, If you don't believe in the pan then you never NEVER get crits!

If you turn on damage numbers in advanced settings you can prove or disprove for yourself if the pans crits more (if you have a pan that is).
