It's not the classes, it's the tools they have. Kritz Medic >>>>>> Quick-Fix Medic

I'd say: No, that's incorrect. Allow me to demonstrate why *demostrates untill you agree with me which is 29192121929 micro seconds*

Uh...I'd say yes, depending on their equipment?
It depends if it is a whole wave or in certain parts of a wave.. if it's a whole wave then no, because the pyro and the spy are weak and fragile, and have to be in close range all the time to be the most effective (Unless you use revolvers or flare/shotguns, which aren't that great in the first place). If it was parts of a wave, or even at the end of the wave where you got alot of money, then i don't agree by a whole lot, because in certain maps, like mannhattan, the last waves are either giant black-box soldiers or hit-on-kill heavies, which are the worst against pyro (Unless that pyro knows how to airblast all the rockets against black box, but still not great against the heavy)

And again, it also depends on the equipment they use.

I'd say you were correct. People just like to underestimate classes. I'm going to assume MOST people here don't need me to explain why a sniper is good, and I'm hardly an expert on spy, albeit a good spy can carry a team even on harder difficulties.

As for Pyro, the other well hated class? I can tell you a thing or 2 about he! Honestly, a pyro who /plays correctly/ and /gets the right upgrades/ can easily outdamage a soldier or heavy, especially when fighting giants. The issue is, a bad team (or a good team with a class set up that doesn't work well with pyro, too many back-line classes) can pull down a pyro more then a bad team can pull down other classes, being that the pyro is so close range. Most people don't play pyro right, either, and they also forget a fancy thing called resistances and health on kill exist.

So, pyro's going to receive a lot of hate simply because people either forgot, or never learned how to use him. Heck, I've even carried parties in Mannhattan, a certain map that made people hate pyros, while playing pyro. There's a lot of 'close range cover' to be used in Mannhattan, and that ends up being a blessing for pyros.

its not the classes, its the players, if your good as a spy (ahem ahem) then he is of use, but lets say if a noob plays as a heavy, then.. well.. u know
i would agree with you if you told me that
and whats with the pyro hate?
backburner/scorch shot/powerjack can be devestating and single handedly take down a wave of robots

Scorch shot is literally the worst flare gun to use.. it does little-to no damage while stock flaregun crits up to 90 damage a hit, which is awesome against giant bosses if you either ran out of ammo or can't deal with whatever the giant has

i find it handy with knocking back giant robots from a distance, but i will sometimes use the shotgun

I just top damaged as a pyro with degreaser, maxing resistances first. Won the mission too.
