Tr_walkway help

Hello! I have been trying to download the map tr_walkway to practice but I have encountered a few problems. I have downloaded the map and created a server but every time I do it it says it lost connection to the item server. Is this a problem I can fix or is it just something wrong with the game? Second, when I create the server, do I add it to my favorites or do I create a new server everytime I want to go on tr_walkway? I am not sure how to add this server to my favorites because I can't find it in the server list. Third, am I the only one that can go on this server? Thanks!

From what I am reading on other threads the item servers on LAN servers or offline servers and the likes are broken right now and don't work due to a recent patch.

Don't bother hosting a local server; opening the console and doing map tr_walkway_versionblahblahblah is easier. Adding a local server to favorites is useless, since the server closes whenever you exit the game, resulting in the server not showing up the next time.

Item server issue is not on your end, it has a tendency to crash a lot

Thanks guys! So basically I should just create a new server everytime I feel like practicing on the map? And the items are just temporarily broken?
