I am blaming all of the demomen that go like "SPAM DEM STICKES AND NEVA USE DEM FER TRAPS".Me and xiaoxiaoman got a in a pretty short chat. He said the same.
XiaoXiaoMan: YOU HAVE A GRENADE LAUNCHER.
XiaoXiaoMan: USE IT.
I just wish people use their primary weapon if they wont use the stickies.

if the stickys are such a problem just find a better way of killing the demo, when he dies all his stickeys get destroyed

Even so, it shouldn't have outshined the defensive capabilities. I mean, wouldn't it make more sense (from a development point of view) to have the primary offensive weapon be the grenade launcher, accompanied by the trap-setting, sentry-destroying, all-around more defensive stickybomb launcher?

You shouldn't be able to use it in that was in the first place though.
Thing is, the grenade launcher really has no advantage over the stickybomb launcher, as it takes two direct hits to kill a scout. Why not just coat the floor with stickies?

I once took 122 damage from one sticky's splash.

That is a little too much. The sticky lancher alone is pretty much the reason Valve hasn't touched the Demoman, as he's just too unstable as far as balance goes. It makes the Demoman the assault class he is today instead of the defensive one he was intended to be.

I run a nice Loch-n-Load and ScotRes.

You know that demos can still explode them after airblast, and that the explosion radius is larger than the airblast length.

I want them to undo the buff that enabled holding down M2; that was just unneededly dumbing down the class, enabling what required at least some practice and timing to everyone.

And a 0,1 sec detonation delay for relocated stickes.

I largely use sticky BOTH offensively - in combat - and in defense... though I enjoy doing it defensively much more. Nothing makes me laugh harder - on a map with a path heading to the last CP where I can hide stickies - than watching people walk past my hidden stickies, get blown up, and then try going through again, getting blown up again... and again... and again...

It ends up being a little too good at offense, though.
but i manely use the GL anyway
