Dream Major Update?
What kind of major update would you like to see in the future (doesn't have to revolve around the strongboxes). Mine: The Classic Update, which adds new weapons that resemble the weapons in TFC (e.g. a syringe gun for Medic that's like the TFC Scout's nail gun).

-Over 100 NEW weapons!

-No cosmetics!

-Made by the community

-Special key which can be found in drop!

-Added an option to kick metagamers in MVM.

The Pootis Update

-Removed Command Cool down.

-New highly rated weapons and miscs added.

-Strongbox keys added

-MOAR AUSTRALIUM WEAPONS.

-Fixed multiple bugs

-No more holiday restrictions.

-Cow Mangler now paintable again

-Gibus removed

-Comics tab added to Main Menu.
Any kind of update that would attract many players back. The TF2 community is dwindling, and there needs to be something to bring a huge amount of players on. Not sure what though.
The Future is Now Update

-Every class gets a Dr.grorbort set and already-applied sets gets fixed if they are broken
-MvMvA = Mann vs Machine vs Aliens
-McMvM = Mann-controled Mechs vs Machines
-A crap ton of futuristic cosmetics and weapons which are not part of dr.grorbort.

The Challengers update
added challenges to the game, that have special rules and limitations
ie, cp_nucleus all scout, mad milk and boston basher ONLY, 40 hp, no medpacks
Badges and custom weps to go along with said challenges
ie: Challengers Own: Blood Bath(scout)
-10 Hp
-33% clip size
cannot call for medic while equiped
wearer recieves 20% hp on hit
On kill: wearer recieves all hp on target as overheal, lasting for 25 seconds
wearer cannot be overhealed by medics
+10% ammo capacity
+15% reload speed
(stacks with mad milk)
Badges: Bronze Challenge Badge: 10 challenges completed
Silver: 25 challenges
Gold: 100
Platnum: 250
Sapphire: 500
Ruby: 750
Australium: 1000

-Pyro has been removed from the game
-Spy now has 200 health
-All forum regulars are unbanned
-New crate that has strangifiers for every reskin
-MvM: New people must beat a normal mission before playing Mann Up. They must beat a Intermediate tour before playing an advanced tour. And must beat an advanced tour before playing Expert and Nightmare.
-Added new crate that has every salvaged crates items in it
-Keys are now droppable
-You take no damage while conga-ing
-hitboxes have been fixed for people who can aim directly at a barely moving heavys head and shoot and still not get a headshot.
-Added 15 new spy weapons and 5,000,000 new spy cosmetics
-removed all cosmetics for all other classes

Every bug has been fixed.
Bonus: all weapons are now balanced.

200 weapons? that will make the game extremely unbalanced with so much weps and as always , more than one unbalanced

I want this too I hope the Red Holy Mackerel on that board is a sign of this and not a Red Herring, as it would be just like Valve to give it two possible meanings that screw each other up. I would also like an update with one of every type of weapon for every class. So one for each slot for every class, but if their are subsets (Like Sticky Launchers and shields, Bows and Sniper Rifles, Flareguns and Shotguns) we get a weapon for each subset. Also, they'd be community models, and loads of cool community cosmetics would also be added to the store with a discount for the first few days, and their own crate with a special key. I dunno, I tried to make it cool yet still support Valve by giving them money, yet also supporting the community at the same time.
