How is the degreaser crutchy? The sole reason people say that is the axtinguisher.

Faster weapon switch lets you cover up any boo-boos that you make, and the lower damage doesn't matter, and who cares about less afterburn damage? Every class is getting some sort of anti-afterburn weapon.

It's crutchy because it has practically no downside. Same reason the old Liberty Launcher and Tomislav were considered crutches.

Covering up boo boos how?....

wtf, the whole reason people use it, is combining switches to maximize a dps, and become more versetile. I can think of much more crutchish stuff than that.

Let's say you have your flare gun out, and you shoot it at a soldier. The soldier shoots a rocket at you, and while normally you would take damage, the faster weapon switch allows you to quickly airblast it back.

So you become more versatile. Where's the big game-changing downside?
And please, list said crutchier stuff.

Thats not broken, and it takes skill to use this effectively. And considering flamer is primary, less damage, and afterburn damage is actually pretty big. Besides, if a stock pyro just always kept his flamer out, this wouldn't be an argument since he wouldn't be switching weapons. The whole point is you NEED to use the weapon switches all the time and string up stuff or it wont be effective.

On a side note, its a bad idea to ever shoot at a pyro with rockets...use a shotgun, or melee him. Or, use the very edge of the blast radius to get him.

unless you are full on demoknight w/ targe, you should never melee a pyro.
