You may want to start off by investing in some keys first.

Start with getting loads of items, so you can scrapbank (1 weapon for 1 scrap)
Then craft those scrap into Reclaimed and Refined ans see if there is any items going steeply up in price, stock those
Then, when they have reached a good price, advertise them on backpack.tf, saying how many in stock
You should now have more, rinse and repeat.

Scrap banking isn't the most reliable of methods. I'm not saying that you can't sell weapons for a scrap each, but with places like scrap.tf, where you can exchange weapons at 2 for 1 scrap or vice versa, it's not easy.

Yeah, no. Scrapbanking is hardly viable anymore with multiple automated services available that pay 2 weapons per scrap.
