Should the game have team deathmatch?

Does every map need an objective? We should be able to play team deathmatch. It wouldn't cost Valve much to remove the cart or turn off the checkpoints.

Search for maps with the prefix "dm" there used to be some deathmatch maps around, dunno if anyone is still playing them.

Like i said,i like using Defense demo with the SR,but i seem to be alone in that role.

A handful of selfish asses will refuse to play the objective, but eventually someone half-decent will outskill the scrubs and force through a cap despite being extremely vulnerable in the process.

Hightower is NOT made for TDM - the fact that people CAN cap demonstrates this.

There ARE TDM servers - including Hightower - that remove the carts.

I think you take this game a little too seriously sometimes. Don't get me wrong, you make very well thought out, intelligent posts. But this is TF2, the silliy Hat Simulator we all know and love. Sometimes people just wanna play for fun, and not always play like it's competitive.

Why do you think so many people use dumb loadouts like Trolldier, Flying Suicide Demo, or Fat Scout? Don't forget that almost EVERY server right now is just a conga dance party. Just let people have their fun. If you don't like it, go play competitive, or just find a server that doesn't allow silliness.
