WHY VALVE PRETTY MUCH KILLED PYRO WITH THE AXTINGUISHER NERF (GIGANTIC TREAD ALERT)
IDK WHAT THE ♥♥♥♥ VALVE IS THINKING WITH THIS AXTINGUISHER NERF. ppl ♥♥♥♥♥ about axtinguisher cause it can kill all classes exept heavy, or a over healed soldier. idk what they ♥♥♥♥♥ about, they dont realise that pyro is a overhealed spy with no cloak, i dont see ppl ♥♥♥♥♥ about spy killing everyone else by stabbing them in the back, dr got nerfed the right way but its still a very powerfull tool). did u ever tried to use a YER spy without using a watch, thats pretty much how pyro is right now. just see how bad pyro is right now. degreaser low damage and afterburn, flare gun, useless vs targe demos and other pyros, detonator almost impossible to kill someone with it, i get 1/2 kills per match with it, scorch shot just make ppl burn, shotgun very range lacking.
pyro is a shortest range class, while every other class can do a nice amount of damage at medium/medium-long range pyro its useless, specially with a shotgun, only doing some damage by airblasting rockets/pipes/ect.
with the new axtinguisher update, pyro is also useless agaisnt soldiers (ppl ♥♥♥♥♥, ahh flare gun does 90 damage and a krit, buuu hoo soldier at close range does 90-100 per rocket and has a click of four and dont even need to get a direct hit, now in close quarters soldier kills u with 1 rocket before u land a 2nd melee strike to kill him), demos (since flaregun dont work on targe a lot of pyros use the shotgun (me inclusive) and if using flare gun and a stikie demo, the demo may die but spams the hell out of u before going, and targe demos make pyros compelitelly useless without a team mate), heavys now just mow u down ( 3 hits now in a non overheal heavy, and 4 to 5 hits in a over healed one, even now u cant kill a over healed heavy from the back, 195+burn+2nd melee when he turns to u even if o take 50 hp with the flame puff its 195+20afterburn max(being realistic)+2nd hit in front(about 90/100)+ 50 from puff(and thats a lot)=at max 380/390 damage in a overhealed heavy, and at melee range u die in 0.8 secs to a minugun) and he does 27 damage per "boolet" at melee distance, thats almost a krit flamethrower puff. snipers keep their distance, and fighting a sniper at a distance without flare gun its pretty hard if the sniper knows what to do.
melees: backscratcher- if a medic in the team u dont use this
powerjack- slower than a scout, melee range and 20% more damage, not worth it, i find powerjack and backscratcher extremelly situational, i only use them in control points maps cause the low ammount of health and high distance to cover.
neon anilihator: also extremelly situational, only use it in tf2 fort, if that.
homewrecker, makes ur role only a pybro, sitting only on top of a sentry waiting spies.
third degree- its a upgrade to stock.
also the reason why 99% of the pyros use the axtinguisher isnt because he is too OP, the range just takes most of the OP out of it, its because every other pyro melee(exept third degree) its a compelitelly downgrade from stock axe.
VALVE U PRETTY MUCH KILLED PYRO; BUT YOU DONT DO ♥♥♥♥ TO NERF THE ROCKET LAUNCHER/STIKIE BOMB LAUNCHER THAT SPAMS AND DO 80 TO 100 DAMAGE PER ♥♥♥♥♥ SHOT, NOT TO MENTION THE RANGE ON THOSE WEAPONS.
ALSO IF I WANNA KRIT SOMEONE IN THE BACK I USE THE GOD DAM BACKBURNER, IT KILLS FASTER AND HAS A BIGGER RANGE, WHY EVEN BOTHER TO USE MELEE WHEN PRIMARY DOES JOB BETTER.
AFTER THIS INSANE LONG POST, if u bother reading it at all, its saying say hello to the old w+m1 pyro with no airblast, cause pyro playtime will be reduced a lot in almost every account, and the few pyros u will see will be almost always the ANNOYING PHLOGSTINATORS pyro that its the class than can kill someone at close range as a fast as a axtinguisher pyro.
SO GOOD LUCK BURNING IN HELL WITH KRIT PUFFS 1 each minute, AFTER THAT COME ♥♥♥♥♥ ABOUT PHLOGISTINATOR TOO.
