Love and War update:Day 2. WEAPONS!
So, Volvo has added new weps.
The Back Scatter, essentially a Backburner for the Scout.
The Tide Turner, a Demoman shield which gives you full controll over turning.
The B.A.S.E. Jumper, seen that.
The Classic, which may need a buff later on.
The Air Strike, which is a nice risk-reward weapon.
Opinions?

Really depends how much the attack speed is increased on the Air Striker. But the clip penalty will kill it. One rocket to jump means two rockets to shoot. The Beggars does better than that

Scout can pretty much deal a lot of damage at close range and a back scatter is more like a ♥♥♥♥ move. Accuracy? not when you are so darn close..
Tide turner would have been muuuch better without the get charge back from killing.. grenade knights will have the most advantage over it.
Base jumper is okay.
Classic... No idea about this one.
The air strike is going to be one of those situational weapons with the base jumper since we do have small maps and closed maps.. sometimes.

Did you read one of it's upsides though, each kill increases your clip, should be interesting

Well they are adding new maps so dont get the idea that its gonna be "situational"

..Yeaaah but even then, larger maps means more damn snipers hiding in random parts of the map just to snipe soldiers rocket jumping and floating away.

Yeah... But the double penalty on damage AND explosion radius, plus the initial cli penalty... Not sure

The Classic actually seems insane and broken... Normal shots without scope have charge applied. That's already a HUGE upside. A normal bodyshot with 0 charge will be 39-51 (-10% damage). But if you're running into battle, what's the chance you have 0 charge? 100 charge gets 115-156 (-10% damage). You can already do more than direct rocket damage in one shot. And if you're in a close-up fight, you won't be holding W + M1 since you fire slow, so you might get maybe 20+ charge with each shot. That's upward of 50-70 damage. You'll also be a huge force to be reckoned with at medium range. Sure, you might have to wait for full charge to get headshots, but c'mon, you're already killing everything in close-medium range, being able to shoot down most classes rather quickly.

By the way, you don't have to sit in one spot, completely helpless in order to charge your shot. You can charge on your way to the battlefield and use that charge to quickscope a HEAVY while in his range without being shot down, as long as your reflexes are quicker than his/hers.

Sure, it won't be as great as stock in comp, since you aren't always fully charging headshots and REALLY need that extra time spent charging on the Classic to make other picks or get a kill before retreating, but in a pub environment, this is worse than the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥... Regardless, it's still really powerful in Co-... BANNED!!! Oh, I forgot...

Note: Headshots without zoom. They should have called it, "Ambassador".
