Do any of these rock-bottom settings require sv_cheats to be enabled?

I wouldn't mind trying this in normal gameplay.

What were the contents of your autoexec?

Well only things I used are:
- Maxframes. Get it here -> https://chrisdown.name/tf2/
- Solid Color Textures. Get it here -> http://www.mediafire.com/download/pilod1nip6tncxg/Solid+Color+Textures.rar
- and low-poly pack. Get it here (first post, blocky 'download' link) -> http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1250115

Installation.

Steam > Steamapps > common > team fortress 2 > tf > custom > *your custom folder* >.

Turn low-poly pack into vpk file (if its not) and drop the low-plow pack to 'custom' folder.

Copypaste Maxframes to autoexec file. Custom > *your custom folder* > cfg > autoexec. Modify it to your liking and save.

Solid color textures: go to custom > *your custom folder* > materials. Open up the file you downloaded, paste all the stuff in it and copy it inside 'materials' folder

And there you have it. TF2 N64 version.

awesome thanks, I'm totally gonna use this on my other laptop, be worth it to see if TF2 at least becomes playable.

Reminds me of TFC or Halo CE.

Nice minecraft screenshots.

I might give this a try but I probably run into servers that don't allow custom stuff...
I already have the config & it helps a lot.

But will those textures run with servers that have sv_pure enabled?

Looks better than cod!
