I know full well that updates can break a game or mess with the internal workings of a game. I have been gaming for 23 years. Don't try to come off high and mighty when you most likely are younger than me and have most likely gamed less than me.
This however has been an issue for YEARS(just in case you can't read) and should not happen anymore. By now they should have found a way to safeguard the item server so that this issue doesn't happen or is very unlikely to happen. It's just something that should of been worked out.A long time ago.
A simple solution would of been to have it saved on the client side and the server side. That way if such things happen when can still play using our loadouts and items. Also while its saved on our side as well the server copy of it can run a check constantly to make sure we arent bringing in hacked items and such.
There. Just one example that could of been done. There is plenty more . Point is this is something they need to work out.
