Best Items to Buy/Craft for Pyro?

Hey all! I'm really new to TF2 (as I only started playing three days ago), but I've already fallen in love. I've already spent about $25 on cosmetic stuff for my Pyro (just because I wanted to be help support the team behind TF2) but I was wondering, what are some of the BEST items out there to buy or craft for a Pyro.

I know this is all purely opinion, but I would love to hear what you guys have to say. :)

Don't buy directly from the mann co store. It costs you a lot more money than it's actually worth. Just buy keys off the market, it's cheaper. Then you can trade the keys for stuff.

He can still support them, just don't buy stuff other than keys off the mann co store.

1 key is $2.50 and can trade for 8.33 ref. (8 refined metal and 1 reclaimed.) Mose weapons are 0.05 ref and hats are normally 1.33 ref. A hat then costs you about $0.20 instead of $5 and weapons are like $0.03

TF2 has a community based economy. All the prices of items in trading are set by the players. A key is considered common currency, and worth about 8 refined, which is metal that can be crafted from rec, which is crafted from scrap, which is crafted from weapons. One key can get you a lot of cheap unique cosmetics, or a bunch of stranges, or some more expensive stranges or cosmetics.

There is a trade subforum in the tf2 forums. Buy keys and make a thread saying that you are selling keys for 8.33-8.44 refined (check key prices at trade.tf) and wait for offers.

Are there any other specific items you think would be good for a newbie Pyro?

The pyro bundle is good. It gives you a name tag, flare gun and axtinguisher for £0.59. Normally a name tag is £0.59 on it's own.

My loadout is degreaser > flare gun > axtinguisher. Shoot with degreaser, melee if close, flare if they run.

Main: The Phlog or the backburner
Sud: the flare gun
Melee: The homewrecker

depends on your play style. regular flamethrower for maximum damage. backburner for spy pyro. degreaser for combo fighting. phlog for just being an a**hole.
