BFB needs a real downside
The speed reduction of doing a double jump barely counts as a downside because there really aren't a whole a lot of situations in which double jumping won't make it easier for the person your fighting to see where your jumping to and wreck you before your feet are back on the ground.

Not to mention doublejump only takes quarter of your boost and to fill it back up you have to do 25 damage. Now how difficult is that to do as a Scout?
I'd like BFB reverted to its original stats but with current "loose boost on doublejump" stat.

The BFB is quickly becoming the new Gunslinger. Honestly, it's really not a hard weapon to counter. Most scouts who use it follow extremely predictable movement patterns too.

The thought of using the BFB over stock is the downside.

I think BFB needs a buff. It is so easy to counter. Scattergun is way better than it. No joke!

I don't know why was it buffed.
It was pretty fine before.

BFB is ok as it is right now. It's kinda difficult to aim with it.

There is also the fact that the scout begins slower.

That's a personal problem.

I'd be fine with a speed buff reduction over time. Don't know what it was like pre-buff, but currently it's quite easy to just get one or two good shots on some bigus heavy out in no mans land before spending the entire remiander of the round just playing the objectives. That the speed is never consistent would also make it harder for the bfb user to get good at aiming.
