TF2 Crashes(Kinda freezing)

So my friend has never had this problem. He verified game cache and its definitly not his hud. Its never happened before(we both have 1200+ hours). He will be playing and randomly his game will kinda freeze although its not actually freezing. He can still hear audio and when he moves i can see it on the server. Its just his screen just stops updating.Any help?

Does the audio loop the last second?

I have the exact same problem.

Also before someone comes in and defends Valve's WONDERFUL AND GREAT optimazation skills and just tells me to upgrade my computer, I already tried installing Chris' config, the fps meter is over 300 fps, my computer is fully able to handle a +7 YEAR OLD GAME.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ works one week and now it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ broke, CS:GO as well.

Yea my friend has a very good pc.But i was thinking mabie it could be hard drive problems? Ill have to get back to you about the sound looping at the very end but if its looping the whole time you can try cl_forcepreload 1 but if that doesnt work you may need to get a new harddrive.

Problems still there though, and im still waiting for a fix from you guys ;P
