wee booties rework
when equiped you have the added health but also increased movement speed. it'd be nice since it would negate the effects of the skullcutter, let demo go faster thus getting to the frontlines even quicker. and iunno. gimme your thoughts and sh!t.

its the same as the bootlegger i think, it should get a rework since both are the same weapon but belong to different sets.

well yeah, I was just being lazy and not mentioning the bootleggers since people should be able to know that they're both the exact same item.

people would probably add this with the tide turner...most people already consider it op'd, but idk i have mixed feelings.

Booties should ditch the pointless turn functionality; and instead get "immunity to Sentry knockback; melees can crit buildings".

Even with knock resistance you'd still die from the sentry + engineer if he's guarding it.

fixed, and the building things, not even crit soldiers do damage to them, thats why in the tips, it says crit shots do the same amount of damage to buildings, use them on players instead.

Depends on the route you take to it, if you can kite it, if you've got extra health from Eyelander heads or from Persian Persuader ammo pick-ups during the charge and are overhealed; if you're taking reduced damage due to Battalion's Backup aura.

And it opens the door for further balancing the Shields vs the Sticky Launcher by giving them "damage reduction to sentry damage" attributes; such as giving Demos a new "riot shield" item with significant resistance to sentry damage, but slower move-speed, etc.

depends on the shiled, plus other factors like overheal, damage, ect.

I'd like that riot shield idea.

I think they should make so equipping the booties gives the demoman bullet resistance. Then i would actually sometimes consider giving up my grenade launcher.

I equip the booties in demoknight fights,because if they're not using the splendid screen,they only do 195 damage from the crit buff after the shield bash.
They could kill me if they time the shield to do damage as well though.
