TF2 can run on a potato, I don't know ♥♥♥♥ about Minecraft so that one I have no idea.
Can you be more specific

you can run TF2 just fine on that, I have an intel core 2 duo at 2 ghz and an old Nvidia Geforce 9600m GT chip, and I run TF2 on high with a steady 50-60 fps, you'll be fine.
forgot to add the fact that it only has 4 hours of battery life

most laptops dont have a long battery life, they aren't like phones they need more power.

This laptop is WAY more than enough to run Minecraft, and any valve made game.

Just connect AC cable and your good.
Atleast that is how I do it.

Oh sheet, I shouldn't be here.
so do you think I should get it or wait?

it doesn't seem too bad (assuming it comes with windows) because the alternative laptops I'd have listed would cost about that much if you tossed windows into the lot.

I don't know, with TF2's requirements, you might not be able to run it...
I mean, are you sure your little i7 can match the power of a processor from 2004?

so what upgrades would you suggest? was thinking of upgrading the processor and changing the 2TB HDD to a SSD.

Just because it's an i7 doesn't mean it's good on some cases.
